An overgrown Sandy yard, rebuilt front to back
Steve’s Sandy home was older and badly overgrown, and the sprinklers had been patched so many times they still did not cover. He had priced artificial grass for the front and decided to put the money into plants instead.
Here’s what our four-to-five-person crew did in about two weeks:
- Beds reshaped. Pulled out the overgrown shrubs and enlarged the flower beds front and back.
- Everything replanted. New plants and bushes throughout, plus additional trees.
- Boulders placed. Placement boulders set on 4×4-ft footers to anchor the new beds.
- Sprinklers rebuilt. The system redone end to end so it finally covers — park strip included.
